Perfect for Creative minds

I thought it was rather odd when searching online I didn't see a whole lot of Lego sets that weren't something specific you had to build. I wanted just Legos for my girls to explore their creativity and have a nice quiet time. I went to the store and found these and then scanned them as I was checking prices during the Black Friday sale. I'm not sure if this was marked as a black Friday item, but I realized upon scanning it, that it was at least half the price compared to what was advertised on the shelf. So I put it back and went home to order instead. Although I do wish it had more Legos as the box is only about half full; my girls are loving it. My six-year-old has been making all kinds of things. She was especially excited about making flowers, cars, and trains. Knowing this was coming in the mail today, we ran to Dollar tree to grab some bases that were only about $1.75 each. Overall, we are very happy with this set and the deal for the bases at dollar tree. I am excited for my husband to come home and show them how to build even further!

This is a VERY basic box of SMALL bricks and things. If you are old and have not bought LEGOs since childhood, everything is different. Colors are amazing now. This box has several small packs of colour combos. It's very empty once things are open. I think that's a huge bonus. I opened each packet and put contents in a zip lock. I use the Brick case to store several different supplemental.sets. I like organisation. I use these for free use while I put together large sets like "Starry Night". This has been great help for managing stress. This was a really inexpensive way to start.
