We bought this Westinghouse Power Station to keep cell phones, a tablet and various lights charged during three night camping trips. There are multiple outlets for powering items both both a/c or d/c with USB ports, 12 volt auto outlet and conventional 120 volt outlet. It has a built-in flashlight and two level reading light. The unit itself charges rapidly on house current and quickly charges our phones and tablets. We have operated a small four inch desktop fan in our tent for four or more hours with out depleting the power station. The reading light is useful in the tent as well when it is not convenient to use the dome light. This Westinghouse Power Station exceeds our expectations and we keep it handy and not packed away with our camping kit. It can be very useful year around. While powerful, it is not something you would use back packing or a day hike. But around the camp site or home it is just the ticket.

This is the best for such a small generator. I use it so much. Tailgating, camping, at the lake for the day, backyard when working...I hook up speakers and my phone and that little guy holds a charge for days!! The solar panel, having the AC/DC option and all the USB chargers, plus the car plug-in, flashlight and emergency lights, this thing is incredible. Everyone should have one. You never know when you'll need it and it's so compact, it's lighter than most women's purses.
