Certified Authentic by this 80s lady! Sizing off.
I LOVE this shirt! The color of the cloth is vibrant, and the silkscreen print is quality, and a true throwback, with shiny lettering. The crew cut is real vintage 80s...I am thinking of getting another in a neutral or primary color and a smaller size, for an early 80s look. I bought the neon pink in a 3X for the oversized mid 80s vibe, and it did not disappoint! There are a couple things that are negatives, for me. The main thing is sizing. My usual t-shirt size is L in unisex, or XL in misses. Im so grateful I used the brand comparison sizing tool, because it told me to order a 3X in this brand. I was skeptical, but the 3X fits perfectly. I came this close to ordering a shirt that wouldve I came this close to ordering a shirt that would've been skintight, in my usual size. The only other (minor) thing is that I wish they would have stuck to either neon OR primary/crayon colors, for the lettering. As it is, the shirt kind of clashes with itself. I find this tolerable, only because it IS an 80s shirt, and that wasnt too unusual, back then. Belted at the waist, and with a hot pink beaded necklace I got on this site, too...it takes me back to the days of Saturday Afternoon Specials and Cyndi Lauper. I almost didn't think I could pull it off, but now I want to get one for my sister, who I have crazy 80s memories with. If they dont like it, they just dont know!
