This is the first olive oil that I actually like the flavor of. I have added it to all kinds of different foods and it enhances their flavor. It, also, cooks like a dream. One of my speedy meals is to microwave some angel hair pasta, then just add this olive oil, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, oregano, ground fennel, and onion powder. The olive oil really brings out the flavor of the Barilla angel hair, and it is a nice change from always having tomato marinara on my pasta.

California Ranch has the best pure affordable olive oil period whether domestic or global. When the crops and weather are right. hopefully the price comes down. This has always been pure EVOO domestic or global. I use for cooking or salad dressing

I stumbled upon the California Olive Ranch brand through Consumer Reports as a smart buy and decided to give it a try since it was readily available at Walmart and priced significantly lower than other recommended brands. We've been very impressed with the quality. It works great for everyday cooking and really shines in salad dressings as well. The flavor is smooth and well balanced, and it has completely replaced our previous olive oil brand in our pantry. A great value without sacrificing quality.
