I bought this product to vacuum seal crab cakes I made. As the crabmeat is very expensive I wanted to be sure the cakes were properly stored in the freezer. The instructions were good that came with it but I also viewed some online videos to be sure I was doing things properly. I think this is a good product with many uses in the kitchen.

I like the size of this sealer. The only thing I do not like about it, you have to cut your own bags with a pair of scissors. It doesn't hold or dispense the film for making bags. I do like that smaller size, but it is a little time consuming to have to make the bags in this manner. I have actually kept my older sealer just to use the ability to measure and cut the bags with it.

This is like the fourth or fifth one of these machines that I had to buy. I guess I need to slow down when using the machine. Because each time before the heating element stopped working And had to throw them away. Yes, I need to let it cool down a little bit in between each seiling of the bags.
