this cart is sturdy enough for my kids to use for all their school books and supplies and is easily transported from one work area to another. The lid doubles as seat or desk. I ordered 4 different colors for each of my kids. the I was surprised that the pink one is designed differently than the purple, black or teal. The clips to open and collapse the crate on the pink one are better designed. My only real complaint is that the lids possibly latch on too securely. my youngest children are not able to open the lid on their own. But that may be a benefit to someone else.
