buyer should beware that swagtron swag cycle has gone out of business. it's a really great product so therefore there shouldn't be too many issues. I wanted a replacement charger because mine got overly hot when I used it. I wasn't able to get that to happen and I could have really pushed it and demanded Walmart to step in when the warehouse process became more than I felt like dealing with. Walmart is a great company and they would definitely help me resolve the issue but the fact is the charger seems to be working although it does get awfully hot. I charged the product outside of my front door so that there is no chance it can cause issues to my rental unit. I think it's really sad that this company was run out of business. they never should have forced a recall just because one product malfunctioned. the little company couldn't handle it and it folded and collapsed. this was an American company Indiana. so imagine all the jobs that were lost. it's a real shame. what a solid little bike for $229! I can use just the throttle or I can do pedal assist. I even rode my swagtrom about a hundred feet in the rain. it shut down. I turned it back on tried to write it some more and it shut down again. got it home and let it dry. next time I wrote it it kept shutting down on the way to the store. but did not shut down one time on the way back home. hasn't shut down again on me while I'm riding it. I'm very happy with this bike and get tons of compliments!
