Surge is an excellent Fitbit smartwatch

I ordered this Surge as a replacement for the old one. After many years of hard use the watch finally stopped holding a charge and band was worn out. The price from the Walmart marketplace vendor was an excellent value. The vendor promptly sent the watch. A very good transaction.

Easy to pick up on and use.

Comfortable. The heart rate monitor works well for a wrist-based unit. The brightness of the display is not great but is easy enough to read. Accessing the various functions is easy to learn. I would like more information on the clock face like the day along with the date and time. I'm looking forward to using the GPS on a bike ride when the weather gets better. So far it appears that the GPS acquires quickly so I shouldn't have to wait for it. The supporting application is informative as well.

Very good for tracking your activity

This ties in to my IPhone so I can set goals for myself and track my activity. It's really neat. It also lets me know when I have a text and who it's from will display
