Key item features

  • Rug Specifications: This Safavieh Amherst Thorburn Floral Area Rug measures 3' x 5' and features a dark gray and beige color palette with a 0.38" pile height.
  • Material Composition: Constructed from a blend of 67% polypropylene, 18% fibrillated polypropylene, 8% latex, and 7% polycotton (warp), with a latex-containing backing.
  • Care Recommendations: Regular vacuuming (preferably without beater bars) and spot cleaning are advised; professional cleaning is recommended for stubborn stains, and rotating the rug every 3-6 months helps prevent uneven wear.
  • Placement Guidelines: A rug pad (sold separately) is recommended to prevent shifting, and for carpet-to-carpet use, a hold pad should be placed in between for protection.
  • Furniture Protection: Use rug protectors under heavy furniture legs to avoid flattening the rug's pile and maintain its appearance.
  • Sunlight Avoidance: To prevent color fading, avoid direct sunlight exposure and position the area rug away from direct sun whenever possible.
  • Crease Management: Temporary creases from packing and shipping are normal and will gradually recede; back-rolling or reverse rolling can expedite the flattening process.

Very Nice!

It would be nice if it had a rubber backing. However, I am very pleased.
