This harness has been so great. It's thick and doesn't cut into the dogs skin. It has two hooks for a leash connect which is nice. One on the chest which has helped with him learning to heel, and one on this back so the leash doesn't get wrapped around him. If your dog pulls on the leash, this is a must so their throat doesn't collapse. My favorite pet is the reflectors on it. Unnoticed in the the daylight, which I love because the reflectors look cheap, but it's visible at night. Wonderful product, great quality and performance. For reference, the pictures are on a 40 lb Boykin spaniel

I have a 10 month old shelter pup and I was afraid that the small would not last through any growth that she still has left, but the medium is a little too big.
