I bought this to keep my disabled wife warm. It's nice and plush. It would be a warm blanket even if it weren't electric. The heating lines are close together, unlike a cheaper electric blanket I also have. The heating time can be set for 2-10 hours (in even increments). The highest temperature setting is 122 degrees, and it gets there. Very pleased.
