Transformers Studio Series 01 Deluxe Class Movie 1 Bumblebee

I was always going to get this future because I’ve bought all the other Bee figures in the past. I will say that the size difference is noticeable. It’s widely known that transformers toys have been getting smaller, but with the Bumblebee figures I hadn’t noticed them feeling any smaller before. This one definitely does feel smaller but that’s not a bad thing. We now have a Deluxe Bumblebee figure that scales great with any Voyager Optimus Prime. In the past you’d have to get a Leader Class Prime for the correct scaling. The Smaller size does have an effect on the vehicle mode, however. It’s much more compact and that can cause some clearance issues, but it’s not to the point of ruining the figure. My only real complaint is that there is a slight lack of pin joints which can cause some panels to pop off easier than I would like. But it’s not that hard to pop them back on and if you take your time and learn how the figure works (which you should do with any transformer toy) then it’s very easy to work around. the robot mode is a great representation of how Bumblebee looked in the early scenes of the first movie and the vehicle mode greatly resembles the 1977/75 Camaro look both proportionally and in detail. The joints are really solid so you don’t have to worry about him falling over like the Last Knight deluxe.
