Airhead Tropic Nylon Family Life Jacket, S/M

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product from Influenster to test. The description said child-adult, which I was curious about. As it turns out, this is just for children, which is perfect for what I needed. I've been shopping around for life jackets and other swimming gear for my 18 month old and I've purchased several to try. None of them were suitable and I ended up returning them for one reason or another- mostly due to quality or not being buoyant enough. This Tropic Life Vest is awesome though. The quality is much better than others I recently tried. It's well made, with durable straps and fabric. It is much more bouyant as well. It's for children 33 to 55 pounds, but my 18 month old fits it well even though she's only about 25 pounds. From reading the tag, I learned that there are different ratings for life vests, with lower numbers being more comfortable and higher numbers being less comfortable but better suited for emergency situations in rough waters. This vest seems to be in the middle, which again is perfect for what I needed. This is a great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This life jacket is of high quality. It worked exactly what we needed. Adjustable buckles are easy. Easy to install and stays in place well. It has a strap to go between the legs for a snug and secure fit. I like that this is a good option for toddlers who don't need a headrest anymore but still need the extra safety features. It keeps my son steady in the water and comfortable in it. Gender neutral colors. I would definitely recommend this life jacket, just make sure to check the size to get the right fit.
