Faber-Castell Polychromos Pencil Set - Set of 120, Assorted Colors

I previously bought the Faber Castell Polychromos set of 60. Right now I am colorizing grayscale drawings, in order to get a handle on shading. But there were some gaps in color that I (an old lady but definitely a novice) found frustrating, even when blending. Having 120 colors is a huge improvement, not just twice as good. You can read about quality from the real artists, but I concur, these pencils are divine. The trays that come with the tin set of pencils is quite flimsy. I highly recommend the wooden drawer box (inexpensive) also offered by Jerry, get the one with four drawers, even though three would suffice. The fourth drawer will allow you to include a sketch pad (up to 14" x 7 5/8" x 3/4") or extraneous sketching aids, or to group your colors more to your liking.

I'm so excited to finally own this beautiful set of colored pencils, thanks Jerry's!
