I think these Sheer Rod Curtains are very nice. But they are very sheer. Although the package does state, Let's in Sunshine, Let's in fresh air, Maintains your privacy... They are definitely quite translucent. So if you are concerned with visibility you may want to go with a heavier, more opaque fabric. I think the sheerness is lovely and delicate. They need either blinds or a window shade to be used with them though. They are a little bit new when you take them out of the package. So I would suggest to wash and dry them and they become so airy and wispy. I put them in the washer on delicate setting and then in the dryer on delicate setting as well. They laundered just fine, and it made a big difference in how they look and it took the creases out without having to press them.
