Just like the book!

I love that the film stays really close to the story and spirit on the book. It prompted my two kids to ask very good questions about why the kids had to runaway to live in a boxcar. I would definitely recommend reading the book to your kids (or better yet having them read it to themselves!) before watching the film as it makes the movie even more fun. Really a nice warm, safe film for kids 8 and under. I hope they make more from the series!
