Roaman's Women's Plus Size Bolero Cardigan With Three Quarter Sleeves

Took a long time for my shrug (bolero cardigan) to arrive (evidently a popular seller), although it finally arrived in white as ordered (black continues on backorder). This item fit me well and will no doubt be worn often as it is perfectly suited for wear with either strappy or sleeveless tops and dresses needing a little something to cover bare arms when desired. It is also stylish and adds a bit of interest to an otherwise plain outfit. The fabric is smooth and lightweight, appearing not to wrinkle easily (have not washed and dried it as yet). I very much look forward to receiving this item in black, open to ordering in other colors when available. I purchased this item while on sale.

Great for a little "something" to cover bare shoulders or chase the chills away. I bought it in White, Black, Vibrant Blue, Berry Pink, Paradise Turquoise and later on I went back to get one in Sunshine (a Golden Yellow) and a Hot Red. I had a problem with the Hot Red one though; it seems someone had put (wadded up) a Medium in a plastic bag with a label that said Large, which is what I had ordered. I couldn't tell until I took it out of the bag that it was the wrong size. I had to exchange it, bother! I'm (at this point), waiting to get my Large sent to me. I love the 3/4 length sleeves, (the most flattering of all sleeve lengths) and the colors that it comes in. Boy, Quality Control at Roaman's leaves a lot to be desired. I wore the Sunshine Bolero last night over a Black/Multi Floral Tiered Maxi Skirt out to dinner. (I wear Maxi Skirts pulled up as Strapless dresses a lot, since I'm 5'2" and I hate having to hem things all the time). Besides, having to hem this skirt would have ruined the lines (Tiers); I would have had to cut off and hem at least 16" of material, just so I wouldn't be tripping over it. Wearing the skirt as a strapless dress doesn't work if the skirt has a set-in waist band, only if it has an elasticized waist or a smocked, elastic wide waist band. There's only one color that I wish I had and that's a Navy in this Bolero.
