Hampton Art Complete Quilling Kit

When I was young I taught myself quilling so when I saw this Hello Lobby quilling kit online at my local Walmart I had to purchase it. So glad I did. I found so much information online and discovered that quilling is now a popular craft. This kit is of good quality and indeed does have everything you need to make many fun projects. Great purchase.

This quilling kit does indeed come with everything you need for materials to quill. It includes glue and two glue bottles including a very fine tip bottle. A number of different colors of paper strips are included. Its actually a very nice kit and especially for the price. I would have given it five stars IF the paper strips had been been a better grade/quality/size. I believe these are 3mm and I dont know the weight but "professional" grade would be more like 7mm and 160-220g. The strips in this kit just dont allow for professional looking results/projects. But it's a great kit for "learning" with. Ive included photos of the project I did as my very first project using just this kit. However, my next project I will purchase better quality paper strips. And no, there are no "instructions" for learning to quill. I suggest going on YouTube and watching videos. If you find small, intricate, time consuming work frustrating then quilling is not for you. Quilling is very time consuming and tedious and it takes many hours to "see results". The project Ive prictured took me about 9 hours of actual quilling work to give you an idea of the amount of time that went into it. There are many projects that are not nearly as involved however. Again, this is where researching on YouTube would be helpful.
