Easy to work with

I'd never worked with fondant before this, I reviewed application videos on U-Tube then went for it. Walmart got the product to me very quickly at a great price. It was a lot easier to work with than I imagined, only suggestion, get a very wide fondant roller. The product is so dense a standard roller leave small lines visible (mostly to the person doing the work). My grandson loved the cake, as did all the party attendees. I needed the fondant as a smooth base for the "sugar sheet" topping I used. For the trim I used a buttercream frosting.

Tastes great and easy to work with

I love using Wilton products for baking and this item is no exception! I like that though it is a large 5lb pack, it comes in two individually sealed packets which works well if you do not intend on using all 5lbs at a time. It tastes great, is soft and easy to work with and it looks really good on the cakes too! It absorbs food coloring really well and works great to cover cakes and also make molded cake toppers. I have used this along with my Wilton Trim ‘n Turn ULTRA turntable and Wilton cake board to help make decorating easier.

Great Product

I have never used fondant before and was a little nervous, but the stuff was great. There isn't a ton in the package so if you are covering the whole cake, you probably want two packages. I think, in general, foundant tastes gross and while I wouldn't say this is delicious, it does not taste bad at all.
