Key item features

  • MEDICAL ULTRA-PREEMIE NIPPLE. The Ultra-Preemie Narrow Nipple offers the slowest flow of Dr. Brown's line of nipples to help babies who are premature or experiencing feeding difficulties with faster flow nipples.
  • TRUSTED BY NEONATAL PROFESSIONALS FOR FEEDING DIFFICULTIES. The Ultra-Preemie Narrow Nipple is used in hospitals and Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU) across the country.
  • ANTI-COLIC BABY BOTTLE WITH ULTRA-PREEMIE NIPPLE. Ultra-Preemie Nipple, with Anti-colic internal vent system, is clinically proven to reduce colic. Decreases spit-up, burping, and gas and provides a more comfortable feeding experience for baby.
  • CONSISTENT FLOW RATE. Vacuum-free feeding is closest to breastfeeding and Dr. Brown's Medical Ultra-Preemie Nipples provide a consistent flow so babies can feed at their own pace.
  • DEPENDABLE NIPPLE FLOW. Each nipple level provides a consistent flow rate, so baby's feeding experience is consistent and comfortable.
  • BREAST LIKE NIPPLE SHAPE. The breast-like nipple shape encourages a proper latch for a more natural bottle feeding experience and eases the transition from breast to bottle and back again.
  • PRESERVES NUTRIENTS. The Ultra-Preemie Nipple and Anti-colic vent system is proven to help preserve bottle milk nutrients and aid in digestion for a better night's sleep.
  • SOFT 100% SILICONE. Silicone nipple fits all Dr. Brown's Narrow bottles.
  • DISHWASHER SAFE. Safe for use in dishwasher (top rack only), electric and microwave sterilizers, or boiling water. BPA Free.
  • Always use vent system with Ultra-Preemie Flow Nipples.
  • Important: Consult your health care provider before using the Dr. Brown's Ultra-Preemie Nipples to confirm it is recommended for your child's feeding challenge.

Super slow! Perfect for all ages

Slowest nipple! Wish I had used it sooner as it saved my breastfeeding journey when baby started getting distracted and preferred fast flow. Got him back interested in nursing more often and were going strong at 9 months postpartum, still on this ultra preemie nipple. Does not mimic human nipple but considering how slow it is and how affordable, it's still very much worth it. Does not leak. In fact, I have used the same bottles and nipples for all three of my children (3 under 3) I never had an issue except for maybe one time.

Great item

Great item. Similar quality and effectiveness to other Dr. Brown's products. Paired this with a multi pack of 8 oz bottles. Wish you could buy the multi pack of bottles with any size of nipple so you don't have to make two purchases and have extra nipples in a size you don't need. But that isn't an issue related to this product.
