I've been using the cheap stick frothers for years, and it worked out fine for me until I discovered this. This is so much easier and the foam is much thicker (also depends on the milk type you use). Instead of sitting there solid hung everything doing it by hand, I now just pour milk in the machine and select the type I want. It takes like 1-2 minutes to warm up and froth the milk at the same time and by the time I'm done serving the coffee, this is done. The foam is thick and creamy, and the temperature is perfect (not too hot, so you can actually drink it right away) just make sure not to overfill it or it will spill once the foam starts growing.
