much needed upgrade from the kitchen scissors

I got these clippers because my dog looked like a fuzzy mop and I was tired of paying someone else to fix it. I figured I could handle it myself, even though I am not super great with gadgets. The first time I tried them, I was kind of nervous, but they were not loud or scary. My dog just sat there like he was judging me. At least he did not run away this time. Using them is pretty simple, even for a dude like me. The battery lasts long enough for a full trim, which is good because my dog is not small. I liked that it is cordless since I trip over cords like it is a talent. The different combs made it easier to not mess up too bad. Still, it takes a minute to figure out which comb actually gives the look you want. Cleaning the clippers is not hard either since they rinse off pretty easy. I thought the waterproof thing was just fancy talk, but it actually helped when I dropped them in the sink. The blades stay sharp enough, though I wish they cut a tiny bit faster. My dog moves a lot so anything slow feels slow. But at least they do not pull or snag his hair. Only small cons are that the clippers get a little warm after a while and the combs feel kind of cheap. But they still get the job done without making a huge mess. For someone who just wants their dog to look normal and not like a wild creature, these work fine. I am not trying to be a pro groomer anyway. These helped me save some cash and gave my dog a cleaner face without too much drama.
