Simple to use. Good magnets. Sturdy. My 20 month old figured it out immediately with very little help. Straightforward and clear, naming the letter, giving its sounds, and putting a word that starts with the sound in a sentence. She's started being super interested in the alphabet and it's nice to have something that says them without me. Fantastic price. It cost me the same just for normal magnetic letters (126 of them, but still)

We have had the previous models of this toy for both my daughter (16) and son (8). We saw how it gave them a great foundation with letter sounds, allowing them to learn to read early by phonetically deciphing the words. Now that we're adopting an 18 month old, I was glad to see that the toy was still being manufactured. I was also glad to hear they changed the ABC song, the new one is far less annoying. I highly recommend this product. It really allows kids to gain a great foundation for readings with a toy they don't tire if as quickly as others of its type.

My mom saw this at her second job and thought it be great for my son. He loves it almost 2 learning his letters and such already this has helped him go further! Only complaint is walmart used such a big box for such a little thing.. could saved shipping costs with a smaller box. But all in all no complaints about the toy!
