It has the exact shape/sturdiness we wanted. Its hard to find just a good solid black crib because every store pushes wood or ugly pastels for baby rooms. The curved back was the winner for us instead of just blocky, sharp corners like most cribs out there. Overall the nicest crib we've had yet and this is child %234.
