I ordered 2 different types, not being sure just exactly what I would prefer. This is great! Very adjustable and fits just fine over my chubby thighs!! I really like the space at the side for mouse and pad. The magnets are a super good idea keeping everything together and no flopping when you move or carry it. Buy it...it's fantastic

It did not live up to my expectations...it EXCEEDED them by miles. I was hoping for a nice lap desk that might work. This desk is beautiful, high quality, well made, nothing to put together except the little lip on the edge and that just 'plugs' in. (It's in the drawer). The drawer is too small for my pen but I usually keep that on my laptop anyway. The height is easily adjustable, and it stays there...no sliding. Very durable, beautiflu bamboo. The cutouts are neatly done. This is one of the best purchases I've made anywhere. If you're considering a lap desk, or perhaps a gift for someone who could use this, I can't imagine being disappointed. I'm very happy with it and highly recommend it.
