I got this to keep the cats from going on the bottom floor of the house where they would get into everything. They are acrobats with expert climbing skills. Wasn't sure they couldn't find a way over this, but it's been great. A little bit hard to figure the top out, but once we put it together would be easy to do another one. Easy to open and close and has a simple lock to keep it from accidently opening. Looks good and so glad l bought it.

Best gate for money hands down! It is the tallest and widest (including extensions) that I could find anywhere, plus it has a secondary cat door on it. It is very sturdy with just the pressure plates. It has really helped our household of 22 rescue kitties (all indoor/all spayed) by being able to give more private spaces. It has many uses. We are going to get another one to use for the office, so we can keep the room cool and yet keep the cats out during working hours (especially during online meetings). Highly recommended!
