True to size. Zipper at side waist, it is NOT stretchy. There is a silky slip inside this slim fitting skirt. It's made of super soft plaid material that has a woven wool like appearance look. I bought a L after reading reviews thinking I had to size up so now I have reordered a Small but I'm going with black N white plaid this time. The L was way too big unusable @ 5'3 105lbs. A size L would probably work for someone size 11 I'm a 2 so I'm thinking S fingers crossed 🤞🏼 try 2 worth it
