If you know you know. This is a group IV true synthetic not a group III that is just labeled as synthetic. While paying about a 15 to 20% /- premium for this oil, it is worth the extra money on a cost-per-mile average basis. And please, don't listen to the mechanics statements about oils lasting 5K, or 10K or more miles. Change your oil every 3500 to 4500 miles, add a very small amount of Prolube or a few grams of dissolved Molybdenum disulfide super fine 1-2 um to the last quart and watch your engine last exponentially longer with much less engine maintenance and repairs.

Very happy to have chosen Pennzoil Full Platinum.

Bought a brand new vehicle in 2008 with 28 km on it and on its first oil change and ever since then has been Pennzoil Full Platinum. The motor has nearly 300 000 km and does not burn oil or make any knocking or ticking noises. Thanks Pennzoil, you earn my trust.
