It is simple to set up and works great. Just dont set your expectations too high. I have a 20x30 uninsulated shed, that placed this in. I put the exhaust out a window, using a piece of wood to surround the opening beside the exhaust pipe. I have tried the unit on low to high, using altitude setting, using the timer setting, and the thermostat setting. All works great, and i have yet to use 1/3 of the tank yet. The truth is that it would be great to heat a small room (150 sqft or less), but it does little to heat my shed. But it does feel wonderful to stand in front of the heat output. I am likely to move this to a small shed or enclosure in the future, but for the price, its great to have this cheap source of supplemental heat if needed.

Great company and great heater

HCalory is a great company. They stand behind their products. This is the second HCalory diesel heater I've bought and this one was even easier to set up. I just cut a board that fit the window and cut a small hole for the exhaust pipe to pass through. Then set the heater on a desk next to the window and ran the exhaust outside. It came with a 110V AC indoor power supply which is a BIG thing to do. Makes it so much easier to heat the spare room that I needed. Unfortunately the pump stopped working after a few days, but a quick email to HCalory and with a photo of the pump error on the screen, they sent a replacement free of charge right out to me. Outstanding company. Good quality heater. After replacing the pump, it ran all winter and helped get us through a rough cold snap warmly. Would definitely buy this brand again.
