The rugs covered almost the entire floor, I've had the same carpet on my floor for 30 years, its been shampooed plenty times it just needed replacing. We purchased this lovely rug for our living room in soft shades of blue & yellow with cream accents. It is warm, welcoming, & looks expensive. It really pulls the living area together. We live in Florida so we wanted something light weight & easy to clean. I'm sorry the runner was unavailable or I would have bought it as well.
