Superior 900 GSM Long Staple Combed Cotton 3 Piece Towel Set

Nice towels. Bought them for our guest bathroom and am pleased with the quality.

This review is for the Red Superior 900 GSM 3 piece Towel set. These towels are a beautiful Tomato Red. They are the same color as pictured on the web site. Like the brown set that I previously reviewed, I found no bleeding. The lose of fiber has been consistent in all towels in this group. I think it worth mentioning, that this is not uncommon in any similar products of this material makeup, no matter the manufacturer or the type product. These towels consistently measured, exact to the measurements given on the website or larger, before wash. They are never smaller. Bath towels have measured 30""-30 3/8"" wide and 55 3/4""-56 1/2 "" long. Hand towels have measured 20""-20 3/8"" wide and 31""-31 1/4"" long. Wash cloths have measured 13""-13 1/4"" wide and 13 1/2""-14"" long. Perhaps these measurements account for an expected loss in area by the manufacturer. Maybe it has something to do with the direction of weave. After Laundering, all towels averaged a 1/4' inch loss in width and 1"" loss in length. These findings tend to bolster my conclusion concerning manufacture process. All things taken into consideration, I was left with a very usable product that very closely approximated the advertised dimension of all towel groups. Well done Superior. Perhaps in my next review, I'll get ambitious and formulate some test to measure the volume of liquid these towels will absorb. I'm attaching photos of before and after laundering. As you can see, there's not a lot of difference. As I mentioned in my previous posts, I launder my towel products several times with a cup of vinegar in each wash before using and dry completely between washes, to remove as much fluff as possible.
