It gets to -40C in my neck of the woods and with some nice wool socks, these perform admirably. Also the tread is no joke, it even provides a little grip on ice.

Won over my shoe picky son

I bought these for my son who did not want "snow boots." Not what he pictured, put them on, and wears them every day, every where! Very happy with the purchase, as usual!

Arcata Urban Leather Mid

Great looking boot. The quality is fantastic, above grade materials and well-constructed with no flaws. The fit is very good and runs a little large for the width. Thicker socks would take up that slight additional volume. The boot is not quite a Wide but close. I really like that it is waterproof, has an aggressive traction soul and especially the felt type liner. It is very warm and comfortable. I would definitely buy another pair.
