Star Wars: The Black Series Obi-Wan Kenobi Jedi Legend Kids Toy Action Figure for Boys and Girls Ages 4 5 6 7 8 and Up (9”)

We all know the limitations of The modern Black Series so it's posing has it's limits but I'll tell ya, it's got shelf presence and definitley gets the job done! The Head sculpt and likeness are great, the paint apps are clean. The Single joints in the elbows and knees will hinder the more atheletic poses for a Jedi but this release certainly "gets the job done".

The final moments of the Obi-wan Kenobi series gifted audiences with what is possibly his best live-action costume yet, and Hasbro has perfectly captured its appearance in this Black Series figure. The head sculpt is an almost perfect translation of McGregor's likeness, and captures his weariness well. Wrist articulation is limited as a result of the sleeves, but anyone who has the Jabiim version of Kenobi knew to expect that. Besides, this Obi-wan isn't likely to be posed with his lightsaber out, more likely to be in a welcoming "Hello There" pose as he offers the included T-16 toy to a young Luke Skywalker (Come on Hasbro, give us a two pack of the Skywalker twins). He balances well, and holds poses on display. This is about as good as it gets with a retailer exclusive, especially a Walmart exclusive. Not esssential, but a great figure who is now my definitive Obi-wan Kenobi
