Dampener system works great for controlling and maintaining temperatures. So easy to operate and maintain plus the size makes it easy to store anywhere. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I,ve had my AKORN for about4 years now and I got to tell you it's by far the best grill I've used for the past 63 years! We are big family of barbecue fanatics.Any they can't wait until I say ( COME ON OVER ,LETS GRILL) Not just the grilling and the smoking and the recipes you send but the way it slow cooks, sears everything. I grill octopus on the stone shrimp crabcakes to perfection. steaks and ribs and chicken to die for on a slow burn. But the smoker has to be the best! Brisket, pork smoked and bacon smoked in the am! Love my AKORN !! Definitely the best beats any gas grill I ever had
