When I opened a package, it had a horrible smell. I washed it on a long wash cycle just to be sure. But it was so saturated. It would not spin out properly in our washer. I had to spin out three or four times and it was still soggy wet. So we put it in the dryer on high probably for an hour at a time two times. And then I had it let it air dry inside out and then reverse to the right side after a day to be completely dry but I absolutely love it and it's very warm.

Big, soft and cozy!!!

I love this!! I have another one that's grey of different brand and it is a little thicker than this one but would find myself getting sweaty! This one is very soft and cozy without getting too hot. Being post menopausal that's an issue for me!! I wear a 2x in a top and I have plenty of room extra. I am 5'3” and this comes past my knees. It has a little bit of a chemical smell and a bit wrinkly from being folded in the packaging but nothing a toss in the wash won't fix! I take my little fur babies to the park every evening and this definitely keeps me very warm. I like the one big pocket that I put my 5%23 chihuahua in when she gets too cold. I love the wine red color!! I was also thrilled that the bootie slippers are big enough!! I wear an 11 womans shoe and these fit great , even with socks. I am very happy with my purchase!!
