Whole Grain

Millet can be used as a base for salads, much like quinoa or couscous. Mix it with chopped vegetables, greens, and a tangy dressing for a light and filling salad. For a grain bowl, I add cooked millet along with toppings l Millet can easily absorb flavors and adapt to different cuisines, making it a great addition to a variety of dishes for my family. I love this brand.

Great stuff

I was listening to an Indian ethnicity medical doctor online, and he said he gives lectures worldwide about how important millet is to the body to avoid diseases instead of rice, especially for diabetics. With my T2D, I took that to heart and ordered the millet. I cooked it myself. I cooked / boiled 1/2 a cup of millet in 2 cups of water for 5 minutes, then i reduced the heat to a simmer for 15 more minutes. I strained what water was left in the cooked millet. Then I had brought a half cup of chicken broth to a boil by itself, and poured it onto the cooked millet with a dash of salt and 1 TBS of BUTTER and let it simmer on lowest heat for 5 minutes. The millet was well cooked by then. I added a dash of paprika, and I enjoyed it very much for breakfast and lunch. Bon appetit
