Rapala Countdown Minnow 05 Fishing Lure 2" 3/16oz Rainbow Trout

I've always had a hesitancy to buy Rapala lures. They aren't cheap and you might just pass on before you see a sale on them, but I have to say, as painful as it is to lose one, they make one heck of a good product. This suspending jerk bait did just what I wanted it to on the tight quarters of the stream I was fishing. I could quite easily make it run shallow, or dive it down a bit. I could run it at a constant pace and pulse it to get that bait fish flash, or just jerk and pause. All techniques produced great action and a lot of color on the water. Again, not cheap, but a solid value for what you get.
