    not for a high traffic area

    I guess it is partially my fault, for not thinking it through, but i would not recommend it for a high traffic area. I placed the run in our family room and find fabric shreds everywhere. The 'shag' is small fabric strips that are merely tied down to the rug and slip out easily; i am constantly re-tying them down.
