No. 918 Avie Global Medallion Semi-Sheer Grommet Curtain Panel, 40"x84", Apricot Orange

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have zero curtains and zero air conditioning in our house, but we sure do have a lot of insane heat coming in all of our windows during the spring and summer months! These block it all! Enter our new and beautiful No. 918 Avie Global Medallion Grommet Curtain Panels we installed this year before the super-heat of the summer. We no longer suffer now that we've got these white, mostly opaque curtains hanging! They are adorned with cute and plentiful medallions colored pink, red, orange, maroon, purple, teal, and light blue. The style is eclectic and modern, yet subdued enough that they'd probably match just about any decor. The panels let a very slight amount of sunlight through, but they block out almost 100 percent of the heat. This is such a great relief where we live and the temperatures stay in the 90's until at least 10:00 p.m. on some nights. These are top-quality curtains given the detailed stitching and stylishly-large matte silver grommets at the top. The plastic bag they arrive in is recyclable (a HUGE bonus), and one panel measures 40 inches in width by 84 inches in length. We have two panels up, and only one long curtain rod that is quite near the ceiling holding both. The curtains almost reach the ground and look great when closed, but also if we have them opened with both on one side or one on each side of our two windows. These curtains are easy to hang and easy to wash. When the dusty summer months fill our home with a light layer of filth, we can easily remove these curtains, wash them, and stick them right back up in less than two hours!
