These are very small little kibbles, and my cat has loved them since he was a little guy. I actually serve them to him like a bowl of cereal equal parts kibble and water, as he laps up the water the kibble swell as they soak up the water and this is a great way to help him stay hydrated. I only serve up the cereal about what he will eat in one sitting, or maybe two. Meaning I don't let a big bowl of soaked kibble sit around for longer than half a day at most.I usually offer him a little dish of dry in case he wants some crunch for variety, or to have as a back up in case I work late at least he'll have plenty there. As far as the price goes it's definitely not your cheapest choice but I think the ingredients are better and have to be better for him than the cheap stuff. Of course I always offer him fruits and vegetables, whatever else The Family are eating that day, to round out his diet and make him feel part of the family. He loves cucumber, sauerkraut, watermelon, avocado, banana strings, green beans, and raw venison, my homemade broth which he loves poured over his kibble on special occasions.
