Beautiful, substantial, love these.

These are beautiful and a terrific deal - they look and feel much more expensive. The side plates are terrific and a really good size for breakfast and lunch or small dinner plates - the large ones are on the big side and I eat lreally ight so I use them for small platters, piles of muffins, etc. They're heavy, which I like, and the slightly nubbly matte surface suits the Japanese-y minimalist style really well.. Food looks beautiful and bright on the very dark grey. One of my favorite purchases from Walmart ever. (I'm a potter who hates making plates - but I'm finicky about my wares . ) A .
