I carry this in my pocket, so the glow in the dark button never sees enough light to help find it at night. Also, it can sometimes come off of safety while in my pocket. I haven't had an issue with it painting the inside of my pocket, but I can see where it might. Still, this is the only brand I trust, and i will keep buying it. BTW, unlike the sprays this canister of gel has no UV dye to mark your target.
