Love it. This is a replacement for a previous version that had black non-stick coating which came off! I was happy to see that Presto makes a ceramic lined electric pot as ceramic coatings are safer. Still must be careful about using sharp knives or utensils to stir with . Silicon only! I cook chicken, vegetables %26 eggs in my bathroom on the sink. My children are house guests and use the kitchen soo I cook in the bathroom. It works out well. I do not use oil for deep frying as my cardiologist says NO. The basket is great for boiling hard boiled eggs so they are easy to lift out. Enjoy!

There is nothing like french fries or tator tots or home-made egg rolls for examle from a deep fryer! Omg!! this lil baby is awesome I fried chicken in it and I didn't use the basket. i was able to put 5 whole jumbo wings in there at once and it cooks soooooo perfect. This baby heats up in seconds and cleans up with no scrubbing. I would love a bigger one and I may just make that investment.
