Motorcraft anti-drain back valves, which help prevent dry starts, are made of silicone to provide greater cold/heat resistance (down to -75 and up to +450 degrees F). Location of relief valve in the majority of Ford application filters prevents settled debris from entering and potentially damaging the engine

This is the filter Ford recommends for its vehicles. It is of high quality, fits perfectly, and the gasket is substantial enough to ensure a tight grip and leak proof fit on the base. This is the only filter model all my Fords and Lincolns have ever used, so I have bought many, and all the filters I have purchased have performed flawlessly. If you decide to purchase a different brand, all I can say is "good luck".

I mean this product speaks for itself. If you are looking for a good oil filter you cant go wrong with the Ford MotorCraft OEM filter. Especially if you have a Ford vehicle, Ford just knows that they are doing. The reason I purchased from Walmart, is they have good prices, and I was in and out there story quickly.
