17 - 22in wind gard.

it keeps the flames from being blown out. I love it, but then i don't move my grill. if you're taking it camping or you move it often it is somewhat heavy and cumbersome to use between setting up the legs, then getting the wind gard put on and then putting the grill on top of that, unless you're a male or pretty strong I wouldn't want to have to set it up very often.

Honestly, it was hard to grill on windy days. I couldn't get the heat to evenly work. This was the silliest addition to the Blackstone but it was game changing. I'd spend the money on this and not other accessories
