This jumper works, but for my needs it wasn't powerful enough. If you're planning to jump-start a vehicle with a completely dead battery, I'd recommend getting a more powerful unit. I tried using it on an older car with a dead battery, but it couldn't start it. I ended up using my larger portable jump starter instead, and that got the car running right away.
