SAFAVIEH Constance Braided Plush Shag Area Rug, Pink, 9' x 12'

I searched high and low for a closeup image of the texture of this rug and couldn't find one. That's why I'm writing this review. This rug is so unique and stunning. The weave alternates between jute, cotton, and big fluffy tufts of wool. It almost has a striped appearance in person, but looks very natural. I read reviews on other sites that claimed the rug was uncomfortable to walk on, but I didn't find this to be the case at all. It's not soft like a true shag rug, but it has a sort of nubby texture that gives your feet a little massage. The ivory color is much darker in person, as you can see from the picture. The only reason I'm giving this four stars is because it was too small for our space, and a larger size in the round shape doesn't exist. Such a bummer. I truly loved this rug and I can't find anything else like it.
