My RV water system had a stale odor from a camping site with really bad water. We had tried cleaning the system with Clorox and it still maintained the odor. We used the this item, Tastepure Spring Fresh and are pleased we have enough to clean the system after the season ends. This is wonderful. It took care of the odor and it feels like the pipes are actually clean now also. Will definitely continue to use to clean the system in the Spring and before we winterize in the Fall.
