Transolid FZS6336C-09 Trimslate 63" X 35-1/2" Rectangular Shower Base - Black

Transolid's zero threshold shower base is a perfect solution for those who have trouble stepping over a higher shower threshold or bath or for anyone who enjoys the beauty and simplicity of a flush shower floor. Made of numerous layers of Transtone, a sheet-molded compound material that is solid throughout the base and is supported by sturdy structural ribs underneath that radiate out from the drain opening. When combined with a thinset mortar installation, this creates a flex-free, water-tight installation and a foundation that you can count on. This slip resistant, zero threshold shower base features a beautiful slate finish and can be used with single, double or triple threshold installations.
DIMENSIONS: 63-in L x 35.5-in W x 1-in H ZERO THRESHOLD: A virtually flush entry to the shower. Perfect for those who may have difficulty stepping over a higher threshold or for aging in place. Actual threshold measurement is 1-in, but when installed, the difference against flooring is approx. 1/8-in.
TRIMMABLE: can be cut up to 4-in width from either side or up to 2-in from depth. This has several benefits, such as to notch a section for a column or uncommonly sized shower areas. Base can be cut to fit a depth between 55-in and 63-in and a width between 33.5-in and 35.5-in.
EXPENSIVE LOOK AT AN AFFORDABLE PRICE: you can now have the lavish bathroom of your dreams without breaking your budget. This shower base features a stunning, SLEEK and MODERN design with a slip-resistant surface, a beautiful slate finish, and a slim, modern stainless steel drain that creates a stylish design.
EASY INSTALLATION: The underside of the base is supported by sturdy structural ribs that radiate out from the drain opening. When combined with a thin-set mortar installation, a flex-free, water-tight installation is easily achievable and creates a foundation that you can count on.
CUSTOMIZABLE TILING FLANGE: shower base is finished on all sides and can accommodate a single, double, or triple threshold installation. The integrated tiling flange ensures no leaks will come between the shower base and walls, giving you peace of mind, without the added expense of having to purchase one separately.
SOLID SURFACE MATERIAL: Transtone is a sheet molded compound material constructed of many solid layers of a glass-reinforced polymer resin. There are many benefits to using the same solid material throughout the base; protection against scratches, nicks, and gouges, four times the impact resistance of other bases, and 2.5 times the temperature resistance.
EASY TO CLEAN: Will not mold or mildew and there is no grout to clean. If needed, the base can be easily sanded to remove any imperfections, without causing damage to the look or quality of the product.
