So far, I have only used it to recess my rear emergency parking brake on a 2016 Honda Civic. But, it was very easy to use after it updated the software with any updates that needed to be inplemenemted. One delay is that it wants to update for every possible car make and model. I simply paused the ones that I knew were other car makes, and kept the updates it had for software my car would use in a typical diagnostic situation.

Perfect tool

From my experience, most high-level diagnostic tools would sell you all kinds of different adapters, whether you hardly ever use them. This Launch V+ also gives these additional adapters; some of them look like they were designed for a particular module, a control module, or something used to reflash the module or whatnot. The ECU Coding worked fantastic after I hooked the scanner with my 2011 BMW. There was so much hidden functionality with the BMW. And it was crazy. I could reflash stuff, and I could get into the actual programming of the coding, which, if you guys know about BMW there would be a way to get in, and you can change values or change stuff with the coding. I don't know if the snap-on scanners and all the other scanners have the coding function. But I'm assuming you if they do, then you will have to spend $10,000 to buy one of them. So this scanner is freaking awesome!

Great value

I like this launch v+. It is like a sensitive touch-screen tablet computer. When it works on the vehicle with an Android operating system and wireless Internet, I can easily find information that I want to know. Additionally, the quick and intuitive operation saves me much maintenance time. I can also keep the diagnostic report in the scanner to inform repeated customers at any time.
