So far, I have only used it to recess my rear emergency parking brake on a 2016 Honda Civic. But, it was very easy to use after it updated the software with any updates that needed to be inplemenemted. One delay is that it wants to update for every possible car make and model. I simply paused the ones that I knew were other car makes, and kept the updates it had for software my car would use in a typical diagnostic situation.
Every garage should have one
Every garage wants a top-level and versatile diagnostic tool to fix all vehicle problems they have encountered. Now, I’d like to recommend the LAUNCH X431 V+ to you all to show my love for this excellent diagnostic tool! When replacing a steering angle sensor, the fault code of the steering angle sensor is implausible occurs. After checking or placing the steering angle sensor of the BMW, this diagnostic tool makes it easy to enter ABS/DSC system to do the calibration. It’s worth mentioning that I can quickly access the function page owing to its detailed instruction.
Very good purchase
Even though its name, LAUNCH V+, sounds like a rocket ship, this diagnostic tool won’t get you any closer to space. It is just an excellent size tablet, similar to an Ipad. However, the whole design is ideal, with a dustproof, greaseproof, and waterproof screen, so I no longer have to worry about incompatible tools with messy fingers. And it runs on an Android operating system. Suppose you can use it similar to an Android phone, with access to other applications, while also having the power to fix engine problems. I studied several vehicle systems, including the engine, transmission, ABS, SRS, communication, and chassis. I got the trouble codes and definitions related to these systems, which helped me understand and solve issues immensely. I can even diagnose the car in real-time by enabling the live PCM data stream to determine which components lack performance. Even better, I can take it with you wherever you want, without the hassle of cables and Bluetooth connectivity. The bottom line, this is a powerful and effective diagnostic tool to help solve problems quickly.
